Today's WTF pic of the day is Patricia Arquette, who is headed south of the border, Indiana Jones style. The Medium star was spotted out at the Radiohead concert last night. Seriously in need of some advice, in what to wear! OMG! I'm at a loss for words!
Ashlee Simpson was at a baby check up this week, where the doctor told her some grave news. The singer supposedly broke down in tears when she was told that she's gained more weight than is considered healthy during her pregnancy. Hasn't this happened to all of us? I'm just glad these celebrities get to feel like us normal folk on some occasions, and this is one of them! I guess no more caked for Ashlee!
Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have called off their engagement, confirmed by Usmagazine.com. The two have been engaged since March 2006. "We haven't decided where, and as soon as we make that decision it will happen very quickly," Sheridan told the U.K.'s Mail on Sunday's YOU magazine in December 2007. She added, "I would like a baby," though she was reluctant to say if they were trying.
"Michael is a wonderful human being. He has brought me a profound love and support. He is an amazing sounding board for me," she went on. "I am the happiest now I've ever been in my life, feeling more grounded than I ever have." "For me there's only been one person, and that's Michael," she added. The two even collaborated musically, with Sheridan singing vocals on Bolton's tune "The Second Time Around." The couple, who dated for several years in the early '90s, rekindled their romance after Sheridan's split from fiance Nicklas Soderblom in 2005. "Nicollette and I are very serious about each other," Bolton told New York's Daily News around the time of their engagement. "I am very committed. It is a very special time in my life. I have a good feeling about the future." She was previously married to L.A. Law actor Harry Hamlin; they separated the following year. Bolton has three daughters from a previous 15-year marriage to Maureen McGuire. They divorced in 1990. 
If you think Matthew McConaughey is a character, wait until you meet his mom. In her new book, I Amaze Myself! (iamazemyself.com), Kay McConaughey dishes on everything from her son Matthew’s conception to how her husband died in a compromising position with her. “On Monday mornings, he and I often said goodbye by making love,” Kay says exclusively in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “But one day, all of a sudden, it just happened. "I knew that something was wrong, because I didn’t hear anything from him. Just nothing," she says. "But it was just the best way to go!” And when her man couldn’t be revived, she made sure he was taken from the house in the buff. “I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift,” she says. The mother — who tells Us, “I would love to be on Oprah!” — also says that her most famous son, 38, was a happy accident. It was just after she’d married Matthew’s dad for the third time. “I was deciding, ‘Do I want to have another baby? Do I want to have an affair? Or go back to school?’” she says. “That’s when Matthew was conceived. We had tried for 16 years and no baby. So Matthew was a big surprise!” 
During a whirlwind trip to N.Y.C. last week, Jennifer Aniston proved that she’s anything but heartbroken since her split from John Mayer. While the singer arrogantly told OK! that it was he who broke off their four-month romance, Jen has kept her characteristic stiff upper lip. Now she’s letting her actions do all the talking, and rather than stay holed up at home, she pranced around the Big Apple like she didn’t have a care in the world, making sure everyone sees her smiling and looking sexy. “It’s like Jen is on nothing less than a revenge tour,” an eyewitness tells OK!. “While in the past, Jen shunned publicity and shrank from photographers’ lenses, now she’s openly encouraging the attention, smiling, showing off her body, and creating photo ops!” I love Jennifer Aniston! I am so glad she dumped Johm Mayer's stupid a$$! I think she is finally ready to have another adult relationship, and settle down. She had her party time with models, party animal movie stars, and casanova singers!

The actor is expecting a child with wife Brooke Mueller, Sheen announced Monday in a statement. “Brooke and I are thrilled!” the star of the CBS hit “Two and a Half Men” wrote. “She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she’ll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100 percent, perhaps a boy awaits us.” Just so everone knows it, I am on Charlie's side of the Dennis/charlie battle. I think Dennis Richards is taking some serious crazy pills! congrats to Charlie and Brooke!
TMZ obtained photos of the aftermath in Kim Kardashian's hotel room, where she cut her toe on a glass mirrored coffee table. She is supposed to be on dancing with the stars, but this girl seems a little accident prone.
The California psychiatric center affiliated with pop culture icon Dr. Drew Pinsky is under investigation after three patients died and a 14-year-old was raped there in the past five months, according to media reports. Pinsky, host of the "Loveline" radio show and the VH-1 show "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew,"' is listed as co-medical director of the chemical dependency unit at the Aurora Las Encinas Hospital. He has said he did not directly treat any of the patients in question. The hospital boasts $1,400-a-night rooms and spa-like amenities for well-heeled patients suffering from mental illness and substance abuse. Two patients died of overdoses in two days this April and the state Department of Health faulted the hospital for the deaths, according to reports by the Los Angeles Times and ABC News. Jeffrey Hearn, 28, apparently overdosed on drugs he had been given by another patient, according to the news reports. Alex Clyburn, 23, still had high levels of narcotics in his system when he checked into the facility, according to the Los Angeles Times. Doctors gave him additional medication and ordered staff to check on him every 15 minutes. He was found dead in his room the next morning, the Times said. The hospital fired a nurse for failing to look in on him. The third person hanged himself earlier this month, and the next day the 14-year-old girl reported she was raped by a 16-year-old patient near where hospital staff slept, according to the Los Angeles Times. Pinsky said he had nothing to do with any of the incidents. "These are not my patients," he told ABCNews.com. "To associate me with these situations is really becoming an egregious problem." Clyburn's mother said she considered Pinsky responsible. "I think Dr. Drew is responsible for the quality of care on that unit and he should have known that there needed to be corrections made," Arline Clyburn told ABCNEWS.com. She said she plans to sue the hospital.
The former adult movie star was "shocked" to discover she is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, mixed martial arts fighter Tito Ortiz.
She said: "Yes, I can confirm I'm pregnant. It's still early, so I'm being
cautious. I'm resting as much as possible. I'm so happy! We are still in a
state of shock." Jenna, who has been dating Tito for two years, is determined to remain as healthy as she can until the baby arrives. She added to Us Weekly magazine: "I'm just staying super-healthy. I have moved down to the beach with Tito - I love being by the beach." The 34-year-old star insists she is in no rush to marry Tito and plans to emulate Angelina Jolie, who has six children with long-term partner Brad Pitt. Jenna said: "I think I'm going to stay unmarried and just go for the babies! I'm following in Angelina's footsteps!" The blond beauty has also dismissed reports surfacing earlier this month that claimed she was pregnant. Jenna said: "Funny enough, that story was fake, but I just found out I am pregnant." I am so excited for her, I had the pleasure of meeting Jenna and Tito, and they both seem to be in love and good people! Congrats!
Dr. Dre's son, Andre Young, Jr., was found dead over the weekend. According to reports, Andre Jr. returned home early in the morning on Saturday and was later found unresponsive by his mother. The cause of death is pending. A rep for the rapper tells us, "Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young, Jr."

Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling appear to have rekindled their romance. The two were spotted getting very cozy at a restaurant near Rachel's Toronto home. I am so glad this couple is back together! They are so lovey dovey and sweet to eachother, I hope this time it lasts!
It sounds like moms have a "Crush" on David Archuleta. The "American Idol" runner-up's first single, "Crush," bowed at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 on Thursday -- a spot higher than the debut of "Idol" season seven winner David Cook's "The Time Of My Life" in June -- and in fact, the song was the biggest chart debut in 18 months, according to Billboard. So who's helping the 17-year-old singer make such a splash? "Moms [are] saying, 'I love your song!'" David revealed to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush in an interview for "The Billy Bush Show." "I really was not expecting the older audience to be able to relate to it, because I was like, 'Oh, is 'Crush' too immature?' but I think the way the song talks about a crush, it's in a mature way that all ages are able to relate to," he told Billy. "I still need a guardian with me," David, a minor, explained. Jeff came under fire from the press for reportedly being too watchful during the "Idol" season, when he was reportedly banned from rehearsals -- a story that his son debunked. "He couldn't really be thrown out since I needed a guardian!" David said, laughing. 
My Name Is Earl star Jason Lee and girlfriend Ceren Alkac have welcomed a baby girl, his rep tells Usmagazine.com. Alkac gave birth to the baby the first for the couple on August 10. Lee, 38, revealed that they were expecting a girl during an appearance on the Today show in May. "I'm looking forward to it," he said of the baby's birth. "No name yet." Lee and Alkac were spotted picking up a marriage license in June (his rep wouldn't comment on the report). Lee also has a four-year-old son, Pilot Inspektor, with his ex-fiancee, actress Beth Riesgraf. He said they came up with the unusual name after listening to indie band Grandaddy's 2000 album The Sophtware Slump. "The opening track, 'He's Simple, He's Dumb, He's the Pilot,' absolutely blew my mind when I first heard it," Lee told Entertainment Weekly. "It was from this track that my wife, Beth, came up with the name Pilot for our son." 
Though the eighth season of American Idol is months away, the show is already gearing up to grab ratings: Producers announced today that Kara DioGuardi, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, will be joining judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson. “We are turning the heat up on Idol this year and are thrilled to welcome Kara to the judges’ table,” says creator and executive producer Simon Fuller in a statement issued today. “She is a smart, sassy lady, and one of America's most successful songwriters. We know she will bring a new level of energy and excitement to the show.” For the last seven seasons Paula has been the only woman at the table, making for an often uneven battle of the sexes. Producers hope that the addition of Kara will help balance the dynamics the judges have with each other as well as the contestants and viewers.
